Deep Blue Sky

A Father and a Son went out for a stare,
Up at the clouds and the blue they did glare.
And then the Boy, did joyfully exclaim;
“A sheep, a sheep, in the sky so blue,
Fluffy and white there in the sky I see, do you?”
The Father listened with love in His gaze, as His son created
Creatures and animals in the fluffy white haze.
And so the story continued for many more days,
Until the cloud,s had all gone away.
Then the Father and Son out on their daily stare,
Looked to the blue where things did appear.
Then the Boy posed a question, so deep from His thoughts,
“Father oh Father whys this sky blue?”
The Father responded in mans own words,
Only confusion was all the boy heard.
The Father in recognition of His own fault,
Told His Son to look beyond the blue He could see,
Much further and further then the eye indeed.
As the boy struggled and tossed this thought in His mind.
The Father simply whispered “Let the thought go and feel ‘till you find”.
As the sons eyes did close and his mind was free,
The Boys spirit was set loose to soar in glee.
With a grin on His face and a tear in His eye,
This Father did witness and testify.
As His Father gazed and watched over his Son,
Beckon to all, to close their unopened eyes,
And look past the blueness of the great sky!
